Urban Forms Foundation is the organizer of the project. We focus our actions on broadly defined street culture, concentrating on organizing, promoting and supporting independent artistic, sports and cultural initiatives. We are interested in: street art (large format paintings, labels, subvertising, street sculptures, installations…), extreme sports, photography, music, alternative street sports and circus street art.
We want to promote “living” culture and art, directing it towards people and making it possible for them to take an active part in organized events. We propagate every activity that aims at revitalizing, through artistic creativity, our city and county as well as the whole country.
Our fundamental mission is to saturate cityscape with creative, multilayered and modern art, that would allow to improve current image of Lodz, giving it a truly artistic and original value. The main tool to reach our aim is large format painting done directly on the side elevations of buildings, as it changes appearance of a given space permanently. Apart from many side projects, in 2010 we were able to realize 4 large format paintings that are located in different places in Lodz (Lipowa 44 St., Pogonowskiego 27 St., Jaracza 59 St., Kilinskiego 73 St.). In 2011 we added 3 other paintings on: Pomorska 28 St., Rybna 8 St. and Uniwersytecka 3 St.
